Summary

On this issue, I decided to bring some articles that cover different aspects of cloud-native “politics.”

We will start with a deep look at the decision on Grafana Labs to release Mimir and how that affects other open-source project such as Cortex which is being used in several big enterprises and other solutions.

We will continue talking about the reasons behind the shocking decision for the Istio project to be recognized as a CNCF project, finally.

And we will end with one article that tries to wipe out some of the initial thoughts that cloud-native and Kubernetes are only useful for public-cloud environments and how they can also help you modernize while you keep and manage your hardware. So come with me on this journey!
